Description: Hambella is a bright, elegant and delicately floral coffee from the Guji zone of Ethiopia (which neighbours the Yirgacheffe region), offering vibrant fruit character alongside a soft, creamy sweetness. Scoring a hugely impressive 87.5 SCA cupping score, this is truly a premium offering

Grown on the 200-hectare Hambella Farm and dried naturally in the sun for 21 days on raised beds, it develops a beautifully layered and expressive cup.

Expect notes of lime, peach, milk chocolate, vanilla and coconut, creating a balanced coffee with gentle acidity, delicate florals and a smooth, sweet finish.

Hambella Farm also works closely with local farmers, providing access to agronomists and processing experts to help improve coffee quality and support producers in the surrounding area.

Founded by brothers Aman and Michael Adinew, the farm benefits from Aman’s extensive experience in Ethiopian speciality coffee, having previously served as Director of Quality Control at the Ethiopia Commodity Exchange and overseen Ethiopia’s first speciality coffee laboratory.

Carefully cultivated and traditionally sun-dried, this coffee showcases the vibrant fruit, floral character and refined sweetness that Ethiopian coffees are known for.

Available as whole beans or ground and freshly roasted in Aberdeen.
