Roasted to a medium-dark level, it delivers notes of bittersweet chocolate alongside a smooth, earthy aroma, with low acidity and minimal bitterness.
Full-bodied and aromatic, this blend is ideal for those who enjoy a deeper, more rounded coffee, whether served black or with milk.
The blending process brings together key characteristics such as aroma, acidity, body and colour to create a recipe unique to MacBeans.
Available as whole beans or ground and freshly roasted in Aberdeen.

A very nice blend, strong and rich, but with a breadth of flavour. I have enjoyed Monsoon Malabar, Peruvian Feminola, and Old Brown Java, but this Gourmet blend is a worthy combination of tastes.
The roast works well with the sage espresso maker, with little, if any adjustment required. Good as either an early morning wake up coffee, or for after dinner espresso
Repeat order of Gourmet Blend (along with Blue Sumatra and Bon Accord Blend).
Coffee is on the darker roast profile and has plenty of ‘oomph’, just the way my wife and I like our coffee.
