Description: Decaf Espresso is a rich and full-bodied blend crafted to deliver a true espresso experience without the caffeine.
Combining Arabica and Robusta beans, it produces a bold and satisfying cup with low acidity, heavy body and deep flavour. Expect notes of dark chocolate, toasted cocoa and caramel with a smooth, balanced finish.
Decaffeinated using the Swiss Water process, this coffee is 100% chemical-free, preserving flavour while removing 99.9% of the caffeine.
The process begins by hydrating the beans before introducing them to a Green Coffee Extract (GCE), allowing caffeine to be gently removed through carbon filtration while retaining the coffee’s natural flavour compounds.
The result is a clean, flavourful decaf that doesn’t compromise on depth or quality.
Available as whole beans or ground and freshly roasted in Aberdeen.

An excellent, full bodied coffee. Having only recently gone totally decaf I was worried that good coffee was going to be a thing of the past but this and the other decaf coffees, the Sumatra and the Colombian, provided by MacBeans have proven me wrong.
